Today things look a bit more peaceful and the rain has all but stopped.

Today the Wainuiomata River is moving quite rapidly with the odd log floating down. If the rain continues we will have river on the doorstep :)
Here is a video of what I could see from the bridge. This is the same river I have used as one of the banners on this site. Just shows how nature can change.
